Back from BangKok

So relieved to be back in Singapore… regardless of great shopping and great encounter these 4 days in bangkok…

i miss my bed… miss my dog and miss singapore’s cleaniness…

one word to describe my entire trip… unforgettable…

Day 1 :

i felt so excited about my trip to bangkok… we took a morning flight by Thai Airway…

my mum, sis and i suppose to sit together but due to the bad arrangement by Thai Airway…

we were separated but was given a seat next to a hunk…*made a good start for my day*

we headed to our hotel to check in our luggage straight from the airport…

after that we proceed to our shopping spree starting from our hotel to Platinum Fashion Mall… *wholesale mall for clothes & accessories*

you can get practically everything there… and its cheaper than other shopping area…

by the time we reach the hotel at night to rest… my leg was super aching…

Day 2 :

we went to the river canal tour at 7.30am… they brought us to tour around the river along bangkok… we can see their living habitat near to the river… very interesting trip…

we spent half of the afternoon there and follow by spa retreat… we took up a spa package which cost about $110 per person… which include coffee scrub and thai massage…

i will never try thai massage again… their skill is damn rough… nearly break off my bone… but overall was good…

Day 3 :

we went to the temple & follow by going to MBK to pamper ourself instead of going shopping…

we spent a day at MBK doing my hair & nails… my mum coloured and trim her hair…

while my sis and i get our nails done… after then we had our shark fin & bird nest feast at one of the chinese restaurant.

when we have finish everything at MBK… we decided to take a tutu back to the hotel instead of walking…

after we bargin a few rounds… we manage to get a cheaper deal…

the moment we board the tutu… we regretted!!

the tutu speed like no body business and cut his way here and there… even in the small lane… he is going super fast… *scare my wits out*

my mum and sis was cracking jokes about the tutu… while i was holding tight to the handle with both hands and kept quiet the entire journey *praying hard to reach our hotel fast*

the entire journey was like sitting on the roller coaster… i am so afraid tat we will get into an accident any minute… *death driver*

Day 4 :

we went to Platinum Fashion Mall to do our last minute shopping before we proceed to the airport…

but by then we just wish to be back in singapore fast as we realised something bad has happened to us during the trip…

our flight was delayed for half an hour and the service was bad for our return flight… *super disappointed*

regardless of the bad service… the air steward is cute… *tempted to ask him for his number*

i will have to consider again whether to visit bangkok again even if the things are cheap…

To be continue… *how my mum got cheated in bangkok*

Sydney White

spent my weekend at home watching movies which i have missed… at the same time start to do packing for my BBK trip… hate to do packing but no choice… dun have much time left…

i so wanted to watch this movie since i saw the trailer… i thought i have to wait very long before it release in the cinema…

another teenage romance movie from Amanda Bynes… besides lindsay lohan and hilary duff… she is also one of my favourite… has been a super fan of hers since What a girl wants… will not miss any of her movies ever since then…

Synopsis:

Sydney White (Amanda Bynes) has dreamed of following in her mother’s footsteps and being a Kappa Phi Nu sister since she was a little girl. Now a freshman at Southern Atlantic University, this pledge isn’t your typical sorority girl. Raised by her widower father (John Schneider) since she was nine, Sydney is more comfortable wielding a power drill than she is power shopping. Unfortunately, this doesn’t sit well with the sorority and student body president, Rachel Witchburn (Sara Paxton)–especially when campus stud Tyler Prince (Matt Long) appears smitten with Sydney. Soon, Sydney finds herself living in the “Vortex,” a makeshift haven on Greek Row for seven misfit male students. A “dork” at heart herself, Sydney decides to empower her housemates and all the disenfranchised students at the university and take the school back from the fraternities and sororities. Each of Sydney’s housemates exhibits a trait of the seven dwarves (Sleepy, Sneezy, Bashful, Doc, Happy, Grumpy, Dopey) and is dorky yet endearing in his own way. Used to being outsiders, Sydney’s housemates are invigorated by their new cool, cute friend who genuinely likes them. The ultimate message is that everybody houses an inner dork, and deep down, everyone just wants to feel accepted and appreciated. Bynes’s feisty Sydney is refreshing in a world of cookie-cutter girl characters, Paxton is spot-on as witchy campus queen Rachel, and Long is appealing as the campus dreamboat.

27 Dresses

Synopsis:

KNOCKED UP’s Katherine Heigl stars in this romantic comedy about a selfless young woman who is trapped in the role of perennial bridesmaid. Set in New York City, the film opens with Jane (Heigl) racing by cab to appear in two friends’ weddings in the same night. She is the maid of honor for both fetes, and she rushes back and forth in time to shimmy to both electric slides. She meets Malcolm (James Marsden), a cynical young man who, unknown to her, writes for a newspaper’s wedding column. Malcolm is intrigued by the sheer number of times Jane has played bridesmaid, and he secretly decides to write a story about her. To further complicate Jane’s life, her younger sister Tess (Malin Akerman) has just come to town and ensnared Jane’s longtime crush, George (Edward Burns). When George and Tess become engaged, Jane faces the humiliating prospect of playing bridesmaid in the wedding of her sister and the man she loves. Meanwhile, Malcolm continues hounding Jane, and Jane’s life and closet soon explode in a taffeta-tangled mess that forces her to make some big changes. Heigl is a pleasure to watch, as she has the kind of crowd-pleasing, no-nonsense presence that could ground any film, so 27 DRESSES greatly benefits from her comedic skill and charm.

1. alone there… must learnt to take care of myself… (sick and die there also dun know)

2. remote area… inconvenience moving around… (dun know how to drive)

3. natural disaster… like sandstorm… blackout… surviving on canned food… (must adapt living in the cold country)

4. work may not be as easy as in spore… long working hours… bored… (i believe that there is no easy job or work in tis world… its up to u to decide how see it… hopefully i can bring a laptop to ease my time)

Now i am must start preparing myself for the interview… hope to hear from them soon… *nervous*

3 Pigs and a Baby

tis movie caught my attention… wanted to see how different is the new version of “Three Little Pigs”

In this new version of the classic fairy tale “The Three Little Pigs”, three pigs raise a wolf cub left on their doorstep. As the wolf grows up, he’s caught between his heritage and his new pig family.

Interesting and meaningful fairy tale… suitable for kids or adult…

something different from the classic fairy tale… worth watching…
