Harold & Kumar 2 ~ Escape from Guantanamo Bay

there are quite a few good movies recently… cant made up my mind wat to watch…

initially wanted to watch paris hilton’s new movie… but ended up with this one…

din expect it to turn out good…

the poster din manage to catch my attention at all… but my cousin wanted to watch this movie instead… thought its just another lame movie…

the ticket uncle even joked at us whether we have 17 years old anot? i din know tat tis movie is kind of r-rated…

pretty cool~ especially John Cho… *cute*

compare to their first movie… he seems to aged alot… but i still find him cute…

Synopsis:
Harold and Kumar are in their apartment after they’ve successfully completed their White Castle quest. It’s only an hour or two later, and the guys are preparing for an epic adventure to Amsterdam so that Harold can win the heart of his crush, Maria. At the airport, Kumar runs into his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa, and he’s shocked to discover she’s about to get married. Before they even get on the plane, Kumar threatens to botch the mission by mixing it up with airport security personnel, insisting on protesting a random search. Though they do make it onto the plane, Kumar eventually succeeds in getting them into more trouble than they bargained for. Unable to wait six hours to get to Amsterdam, Kumar takes a home-made “smokeless bong” into the airplane bathroom. Turbulence strikes, the bathroom door swings open, the bong’s mistaken for a bomb, and the guys are mistaken for terrorists. The plane is turned around and the guys are detained in Guantanamo Bay.

Now, being suspected of terrorism, they are forced to run from the law and try to find a way to prove their innocence. What follows is an irreverent and epic journey of deep thoughts, deeper inhaling and a wild trip around the world that is as “un-PC” as it gets.

Great Deals

recently i was intro to this product from Avene by one of my gf… best for sensitive skin…

made of pure spring water… after trying the various product… i can say the product is good…

gentle, natural and chemical free… this products are from paris…

one disadvantage is the product are quite costly compare to other facial products… but worth the price…

u can check out for their promotion deals at watson & guardian… they have different promotion packs and discount… their promotion packs are way cheaper and more worth buying…

so far i have tried their pore cleanser, moisturiser, sunblock 50+, scrub, thermal spring water as toner and whitening serum… it suits me well…

lastly… remember to ask for more samples… u can use it as travel pack… very convenience…

if u need more info… ask me…

another good deal i am going to intro is Optical Shop…

since i started primary school… i started wearing specs… almost every year i need to change specs…

it costs at least $150 to $200 every time i made my specs…

then i was intro to this shop by my aunt… their specs are cheap… they charge $60 to $100 for a pair specs… and they have various designs of spectacles… from korea…

its so cheap tat i will make two pairs every trip… which can last me about two years…

basically i am not a gentle person… u can imagine how rough i can be treating my specs…

one disadvantage is that they are situated at a quite remote area… tat is why they can afford to sell so cheap… bcos their rental is cheap too…

their shop is small and it always packed with customers… their price is quite reasonable…

i have intro a couple of my frens there… feedback is good… and save alot…

no harm giving it a try…

Penelope

Wanted to share this movie… kind of meaningful and sweet…

its a story of a gal who was born with a curse… she had a snout… and her mother locked her away in a sprawling mansion. Though it is said that the curse can be lifted if one of her own learns to love her, every man who lays eyes on her takes flight at first sight, never to return — until the arrival of Max…

maybe gals may loved it more… where guys could give a miss…

Synopsis:

Penelope is a magical modern-day fairytale about love and self-acceptance. PENELOPE WILHERN (Christina Ricci), born to wealthy socialites (Catherine O’Hara and Richard E. Grant), is afflicted by a secret family curse that can only be broken when she is “loved by one of her own kind.” Hidden away in her family’s estate, the lonely girl is subjected to meeting a string of blue-bloods through her parent’s futile attempts to break the curse. Each suitor is enamored with Penelope (and her sizable dowry)… until the curse is revealed. LEMON (Peter Dinklage), a mischievous tabloid reporter, wants a photograph of the mysterious Penelope and hires MAX (James McAvoy) to pose as a prospective suitor and get the shot. The handsome down-on-his-luck gambler finds himself falling for Penelope, but not wanting to disappoint her, he disappears. Fed up by this latest betrayal, and determined to live life on her own terms, Penelope breaks free from her family and ventures into the world alone. She finds friendship (Reese Witherspoon), adventure, and becomes the person she was meant to be.
